About the office

Office of Academic and Vocational Programs:

Established concurrently with the founding of the institute, this office is considered a cornerstone among its essential pillars. It contributes to the development of the educational and technical process within the institute by achieving the goals and visions of the academic departments and interacting with all new developments in scientific curricula, ultimately benefiting both students and professors. Its duties include implementing scientific and training programs, encouraging scientific research, and stimulating a spirit of development and creativity among them.

The institute comprises seven academic departments specialized in the field of marine sciences. These departments keep pace with all new developments in the Libyan job market and aim to graduate effective engineering cadres distinguished both academically and practically, in order to bridge the existing gap in the marine sector.
