Department Establishment Date:

One of the departments affiliated with the institute, established in 2006 AD.

Mission:

Preparing cadres capable of managing and developing fisheries and aquatic resources efficiently and sustainably, and ensuring food safety and quality through innovative methods and techniques and an advanced system to enhance food security and maximize economic returns.

Objectives:

The department aims to graduate competent cadres capable of working and supervising marine fish farms by:

  • Renewing scientific knowledge of fish farming science.
  • Explaining methods of managing fish farms and how to hatch and handle fish.
  • Utilizing scientific research skills in studies related to aquaculture.
  • Explaining methods for protecting farmed fish.
  • Participating in the design of aquaculture projects aimed at serving the community.

Future Vision for the Department:

  • The department aspires to prepare cadres that work to provide sustainable food and water security and make an effective contribution to raising the national economy.
